NSF meets DSW of JU

Jammu, Dec 2: A delegation of National Secular Forum (NSF) today met Dean Students Welfare Jammu University, Prof Pankaj Shrivastva and presented a memorandum of their demands.
During meeting, it was discussed by the NSF members that the alcohol should be banned in the hostels and demanded installation of more dustbins in whole Campus, Indian flag in campus, improved filterization of water, Canteen facility with improved food quality, fruit chat outlet, canteen to be opened in DDE, Examination halls to be excluded from the Central library.
The members discussed the security problems during off days (Saturday and Sunday), evening time near hostels and proper checking of vehicles in campus. It was further discussed by the NSF members that fixed timing should be drawn for walkers and proper dress-code for joggers before and after university hours.
After listening to the above mentioned problems, DSW Prof Pankaj Shrivastva assured NSF activists that all their demands will be fulfilled within a short period of time.
Among those who were part of delegation included Reshikesh Rana , Amit Sanotra ,Pushpinder Singh, Arun Manhas and others.
