Espionage case: Crime Branch Delhi reportedly lifts two more accused | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 2: The Crime Branch Delhi today reportedly arrested a retired Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) and a civilian from the vicinity of Rajouri town and from Manjakote respectively while the Rajouri police, BSF officials are tight lipped about the latest developments in recently exposed Espionage network in Rajouri town. Sources said that Crime branch has picked up one retired Assistant Sub inspector of Border Security Force (BSF) from Kapakha village situated in the vicinity of Rajouri town and picked up another person from Manjakote on the identification of espionage accused already detained by the Crime Branch New Delhi. As claimed by sources following confession by Abdul Rashid about his involvement in espionage network, involvement of army personnel and BSF personnel can't be denied and their arrests are on cards. A team of Crime Branch reportedly camping at Rajouri and today apprehended the retired d BSF, ASI and a civilian but was not confirmed either by Rajouri police or any other agency. When contacted, SSP Rajouri has expressed his ignorance about any such development and even no family member of the arrested persons has approached the local police. Pertinent to mention here that Crime Branch of Delhi Police after intercepting conversation of one of the accused identified as Kafait Ullah Khan resident of Kalali (Manjakote) and his Pakistani handler (reportedly ISI official), had arrested Kafait at Delhi Railway Station along with few document having implication on National Security. During sustained interrogation Kafait Ullha revealed the name of head constable serving in intelligence wing of BSF Sector HQs at Rajouri , who is his relative and was providing secret , confidential information detrimental for the security of the country. |
