Abducted girl recovered within 24 hrs, accused held 12/3/2015 12:28:59 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 2: Acting swiftly Rajouri Police have recovered the kidnapped girl from Reasi district within 24 hours of the complaint lodged by family members at Kandi Police Station Rajouri. Police have arrested the abductor and further investigations are on in this context. According to police, one Gulzar Begam of Mohra (Kandi) lodged a complaint with Kandi Police Station alleging therein that Mushtaq Ahmed s/o Ali Mohd of village Jaglanoo has kidnapped her daughter (19) Saheen Akhter. Police quoting complainant said that Saheen went missing from the house on December 1 while performing domestic activities. "On the complaint of the mother police booked the accused in case FIR No 92/15 u/s 366 and swung into action, police said adding, "several raids were conducted at the possible hideouts of the accused. Few suspects were also picked up by the police but failed to get any clue about the kidnapper." "On a specific input police today conducted raids in village Kunderdhan in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district and rescued the abducted girl from the clutches of her abductor and arrested the accused from the spot, police added.
