| 2 teenagers go missing from Kishtwar, family seeks police help | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 2: Two teenagers of 14 and 15 years of age were reportedly missing from their rented accommodation at Wasser here and family members of one them today approached Kishtwar police and sought their help in tracing them.
Om Prakash, son of Thakar Dass of Sigdi, Kishtwar, approached Kishtwar police and lodged the missing complaint of his son and the latter's friend, both 9th class students.
Police sources identified the missing teenagers as Atikant, son of Om Parkash of Sigdi Chatroo, and Robin, son of Kanshi Ram of Tagood, presently putting up at Wasser Kuleed.
Both are friends and routinely used to go for a morning walk to Chowghan, but did not come back as a result of which their families started their manhunt and after searching them at every possible place when they couldn't find them, they approached Kishtwar police station.
Acting on the complaint, Kishtwar police started investigation and handed over the case to Sub Inspector Gurpal Singh, incharge Police Post Kuleed. The reason behind disappearance of the two teenagers was yet to be known and police were also quizzing their family members to ascertain the cause. |
