Jammu, Dec 2: A minor girl (16) allegedly was gang raped after being abducted by the group of five youth in city outskirts here today. A case stands registered in this regard.
The victim has identified the accused as Akram s/o Liakat Ali of Lala da Bagh, Gafoor s/o Yousuf of Akhnoor ,Pappu s/o Munshi of village Kharian, Miran Sahib and Shabir Ahmd s/o Mohd Arif of Mirlian, police sources added.
As per police sources, the victim went missing from her residence at Sikanderpur Kotha, Bishnah since November 28 following which a missing report was lodged with the Bishnah Police. "Accordingly the police have launched massive searches the victim was found in a field in unconscious condition after the four days of her missing, police sources said. They said, "She was rushed to the Sub District Hospital where she informed police that she was gang raped by the five above mentioned accused. Meanwhile Police have registered a case in this connection and massive manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused. |
