District Library organises debate competition 12/17/2015 10:54:14 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Dec 17: District Library organized debate on "Importance of books" with the mission and continuous efforts to aware the society by providing better services in the public libraries. MLA Hiranagar Kuldeep Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion. Welcome address was given by Deputy director libraries Jammu province Om Parkash. In his address he gave a brief details of functioning of the libraries in the Jammu province. During the programme various renowned speaker Vijay Sharma famous poet and scholars Deepa Sharma and students of different schools stressed the audience to create a habit of reading books as books is the true friends. Around 29 students participated in the debate.
