JAMMU, Dec 17: Panic gripped the mountainous Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir when tremors were felt in the region due to mild intensity earthquake.
"Mild intensity earthquake was reported at around 1448 hrs in Doda, Bhaderwah and Thathri belts," Zahid Manhas, SSP, Doda, said here. He said tremors were felt in the region for few seconds while no damage or loss of life, injury has been reported so far. However, people ran for shelter and also came out of their houses when the quake hit the hilly belt. |
