Srinagar, Dec 17: Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) has presented a charge sheet (Challan) in the Court of Anti-Corruption, Baramulla against the three government servants viz. the then Forest Range Officer Rajwar, Handwara, two foresters and others.
After obtaining proper sanction for launching prosecution, from the competent authority
vide Order No.22-GAD(Vig) of 2014 dtd 08/08/2014 Vigilance Organization Kashmir has presented a Charge Sheet (Challan) today against the Government Servants namely Riyaz Anwar Masoodi s/o Gh Hassan Masoodi of Tragpora Rafiabad, Sopore the then Forest Range Officer Rajwar, Handwara, (Forcibly retired by govt. on 30/06/2015), Gh Mohuidin Bhat s/o Ab Ahad Bhat r/o Vodhpora, Handwara Forester, the then B.O. Town Handwara (Retired on superannuation) and Farooq Ahmed Lone s/o Abdul Gaffar Lone r/o Langate, Handwara Forester, the then B.O. Town Handwara, and others. "The case was registered on the basis of an enquiry into alleged clandestine felling and smuggling of timber from various compartments of Forest Range Rajwar Handwara by officials of Forest Range Rajwar Handwara and others, he added. |
