Jammu, Dec 117 : All J&K PHE ITI trained and CP workers Association staged protest in support of their demands including regularization of daily wagers, pending wages (from last 48 months), Land Cases and CP workers, Need Base and others at Chief Engineer's office B.C Road Jammu.
While addressing the gathering, Tanveer Hussain said that on 11 October 2015 State Finance Minister Hasseb Drabu assured that in the next few months govt. will fulfill our demand but till today nothing concrete has been done by the govt. and our demands are still pending forcing us to follow the path of agitation.
He said that PHE minister Sukhnandan Kumar also assured for fulfillment of our demands but nothing has been done till today. He said that one day protest demonstration has been organized today by their organization at both the provinces i.e Jammu as well as Kashmir in which thousands of Daily Wagers, Need Base, CP workers took part. He warned the PDP-BJP Govt. if their demands are not fulfilled at the earliest Association will intensify agitation in whole state. He said on 25th of December next course of action against the state govt. will be decided.
