Jammu, Dec 17 : Central Government Pensioners' Welfare Association (CGPWA), Jammu and Kashmir today celebrated National Pensioners' Day at Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) here today.
According to press release, Dr. Ram Vishwakarma, Director, IIIM Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The function was attended by a large number of association members, and eminent social activist.
lK.Vaid, General Secretary CGPW A conducted the proceedings of the function and also briefed the house on 7CPC recommendations, Pensioners' Portal under National e-Governance Plan and latest important O.Ms issued by Govt. of India in respect of pensioners.
S.S. Wazir, President CGPWA, presented welcome address and highlighted the salient features of the Association along with its future plans and a brief background of the Pensioners' Day.
On this occasion, VP Sharma, Patron and noted Geologist & Environmentalist delivered an impressive power point presentation on Traditional Health Care System. His presentation detailed useful tips for maintaining good health and healthy life style. |
