| Lecture on prevalent poultry, cattle diseases held at GDC Rajouri | | | Jammu, Dec 17 : Zoology department of government degree college, Rajouri on Thursday organised a guest lecture on, the most prevalent diseases of poultry and cattle in district Rajouri.
Deputy director, sheep husbandry, Rajouri, Sarfaraz Naseem Choudhary deliberated on the topic in detail and imparted practical information to students and staff of the college.
He expressed hope that the information will go a long way in preventing many diseases which otherwise cause great economic loss due to death of precious animals by reducing milk and meat production.
Head of the Zoology department, Mangat Ram Sharma motivated the students to take advantage of the programme.
College principal, Shabir Hussain Shah impressed upon students to disseminate the information in the home and towns thereby play role in saving valuable livestock of farmers. |
