Early Times Report Kishtwar, Dec 19: All India Students Federation (AISF) J&K State Council today remembered Shaheed Ashfaqullah Khan, Roshan Singh and Ramparsad Bismil on their 88th Martyr's Day as National Unity Day. These legends were hanged to death on the same day by the Britishers while fighting for the independence of India. Programme was organized at Comrade Dhanwantri Bhawan under the leadership of Comrade Mukesh Parihar State President of AISF J&K who in his address said that it was due to the unity and strength between the various religions and sects, the India got Independence from the British rule, adding that these days our country is suffering from communal tension and religious intolerance is growing continuously and there is the need for the society to get inspiration from these martyrs to make our society more better. Others who share their views on the occasion includes State Council Member Koshal Sharma and Manish Chandail, Distt President AISF Jammu Ranbir Bandral, Ravish Chandail, Tania Jamwa, Sanjay Kotwall and Ridham Bharti. Similar programs were held at Doda, Udhampur, Bhaderwah and Kathua also. |
