Downloading Roll No. slip from SSB website a Gordian knot 12/19/2015 11:35:03 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 19: After the Service Selection Board (SSB) started online system of filling up of application forms for posts in various government departments, the aspirants are facing tough times to get their roll number slips downloaded from its official website. The software developed by the recruitment agency is replete with lacunae, putting the aspirants in difficulties. "The SSB has developed so complicated system that has virtually become a Gordian knot for the aspirants get downloaded the roll number slips particularly for majority of aspirants who had to visit cyber café for online filling up of application forms advertised by this recruitment agency. As per the system developed by the SSB, aspirants had to create a separate account through a link sent in the individual's e-mail ID for getting information in future especially for downloading roll number slips," alleged some aspirants. During registration of the application forms from the cyber café, the most of the operators don't tell them about the creating of account for the application forms filled online which ultimately has created trouble for the candidates get their roll number slips. "There are many other recruitment agencies which have so simple system for getting downloaded their roll number slips just putting registration number and date of birth but in case of SSB it requires separate User ID, Password which most of aspirants have forgotten, now they have been compelled to visit SSB office for getting redress their grievance but unfortunately nobody in the department bother to heed to their problems," they said. They said that it was great shame for the recruitment agency that an aspirant had to deposit Rs 400 for each form and had to pay Rs 100 in the cyber café for filling up application forms yet this lot had to face difficulty in getting their roll number slips. "If they are charging such huge money of Rs 400 for each form from the pocket of unemployed youth , why can't they send roll number slips to the candidates through speed post as it is the sole responsibility at the helms of the affair to ensure dispatching of roll number slips to everybody," they said, adding that by doing so, SSB is "looting" the educated unemployed youths of the state.
