| SSKSB holds meet, strives for boosting tourism | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Dec 19: In an effort to increase tourism in the district, a meeting with leading Tour operators was organized by Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board (SSKSB) for promotion of pilgrimage at Holy cave at Shivkhori, in particular & at other tourist spots in general like Aghar Jittoo, Naun Devian, Baba Dhansar, Dera Baba Bandha Bhadur, Siarh Baba, Shri Shiv Paryag Salal etc. The meeting was attended by the large number of Tourists operators, President Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra & other agencies related to tourism industry. Others who were present in the meeting included Dy. Commissioner, Sushma Chauhan who is also Vice Chairperson SSKSB, Addl. Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Asstt. Director Tourism Jammu, OSD SMVDSB Katra, Naib Tehsildar Ransoo, President Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra.
Sushma Chauhan, stressed upon the need for providing better facilities to the tourists, so that a good message is spread across the country & abroad and more & more tourists get attracted and plan their itinerary schedule including the tourist spots of Reasi District as well. She said that every help shall be extended in this context by the distrist administration, SSKSB & other related departments like Information & Tourism. She gave a patient hearing to the problems highlighted by the tour operators/travel agents like road connectivity, sanitation, transportation of passengers from bus stand to Darshani Deodi at Ransoo and informed that these issues shall be sorted out shortly.
