KATRA, Dec 19 : Delhi Public School (DPS), SMVDU, Katra today held an impressive function to celebrate its "Annual Sports Day" at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex, Katra.
Bhawani Rakwal, Addl Deputy Commissioner, Reasi was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary State Sports Council J&K and B Mohandaas Addl CEO, SMVDSB were the guests of honour besides prominent citizens and worthy parents of the students.
R K Verma, Principal DPS, Katra delivered the welcome address and also highlighted the achievements in sports and other co-curricular activities.
In his address, Rakwal appreciated the various events organised by the school and team of teachers who did a commendable job in training the students. He also distributed medals among the winners of various games.
S S Sodhi, Director DPS, Katra lauded the efforts of the staff and congratulated the students for their excellent performance. |
