Jammu, Dec 19 : MV International School celebrated its annual day with great zeal. Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Shantmanu, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, J & K was present as the Guest of Honour on the occasion. The Chairman, MVIS, Hira Lal Abrol, Vice Chairperson Savita Abrol, Directors Gourav Abrol and Aakriti Abrol along with Eminent Citizens, Sarpanchs of Disttt Samba and Parents graced the occasion. The Director, MVIS shared the journey of MVIS with audiences presented the Welcome Address. The program commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp and invocation to the almighty. The cultural program was the mixture of events. The classes I and II presented the welcome dance. First time ever 'A Shadow Dance' was performed on the stage of Jammu by young MVeans which was a showcase of the routine life of a student and how he/she manages the various segments of life. The audience was spellbound with the performance. Class VIII presented the history of Jammu and Dogra Culture in a unique way. They portrayed the formation of J & K and the sequence of events that led to the Accession of J&K to India. The program was followed by the Bollywood Jodies performed by the Nursery and LKG students who enacted on the tunes of Raj Kapoor and Nargis, Govinda and Karishma, Bhag Milkha Bhag etc. |
