JAMMU, Dec 19 : Lalded Women Welfare Society (LWWS) staged Dogri Nukkad Natak "Hun Pakhroo Naeen Boldey" in its next Saturday series here today at Kunjwani. The play is conceived and written by Rampaul Dogra and directed by Naveen Pal. "Hun Pakhroo Naeen Boldey" is a worry of a old man called Juman who asks everyone in the village regarding suddenly disappearance of birds but no one is giving answer to that question but only make mockery of him and even at many times he faces humiliation. Actually he had seen a large number of birds of all kinds like crow, sparrow, dove, parrots and quails when he was grazing cattle at village during childhood, he loved birds very much even he puts some piece of bread to birds as per old rituals after he finishes his food. One day he asked from village teachers who is also associated with environment mission, he explains many reasons that number of birds is drastically fallen. This all happens because of human mistake and carelessness . The old Juman listens keenly. The teacher goes on telling that deforestation, polluted water flowing into canals, nullahs, drunken by these innocent birds for quenching thrust and die down. Radiation of mobile towers, shrinking of clean water bodies are also proving bad for dying birds. So efforts be made to give a new life to them by putting hands together. At once juman jumped up with joy and said, again he love to see the birds in large numbers like past. He also appealsto concerned agencies to think on this serious issue to save dying birds. |
