Retired police personnel resents pay anomaly 1/10/2016 10:08:39 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Jan 10: All J&K Retired Police Personnel Forum today staged massive protest demonstration at Bhagat Singh Park and expressed resentment against state government wherein the protesters raised their voice for implementation for Pay anomaly from 1996. While addressing to protesters, Sat Paul Sharma President ALL Retired Police personnel Forum said during the implementation of 5th Pay Commission from January 1, 1996 J&K government upgraded the pay scale of ASI/HCs. DGP J&K took up the matter with the Commissioner secretary Home on 29/06/1998 whereas Home department vide letter no. Home/24/ Acctt/2007 dated 29/9/2007 sought proposal of Anomaly in the pay scale of ASI's /HCs. He added that government constituted a pay anomaly committee in Oct.2009 and in Decx.2012 committee submitted the proposal for pay anomaly that still to implement. Meanwhile, in pursuant to the recommendation of Pay Anomaly Committee in Oct 2014 government upgraded the pay scale applicable to merely the post of ASI & HC prospectively instead of retrospectively. The protesters expressed resentment over the substantial delay the permanent settlement of long pending issue and threatened that further delay in this connection shall compel to come on the roads.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
