JAMMU, Jan 10 : The fortnight- long Winter Camp at KC Sports Club concluded with the holding of a special valedictory function at Cricket hall of the Club, here today. Around 40 young participants, who successfully completed the camp, were given away awards and certificates.
In the valedictory function, General Manager District Industries Centre, Vinod Kumar Behnal graced the occasion as special guest. The special guest congratulated the participants for completing their camp in a very successful manner and appreciated the parents for channelizing the energies of their children in healthy direction during the winter vacation. He also praised management of the Club for providing quality services to the people of Jammu. Earlier, during the 15-day camp, young trainees displayed their skills in various games and related activities including Cricket, Squash, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Martial Arts, Aerobics, Rock Climbing and Personality Grooming through Spoken English.
In the short demonstration programme presented before the invited parents of the participants, students gave an impressive exhibition of the skills they had acquired at the Camp. Visiting parents were quite impressed with the presentations and cheered the students after each demonstration. |
