JKEDI' organises awareness camp 1/14/2016 11:07:33 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Jan 14: A two day awareness camp conducted by the J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) held in the premises of the District Employment & Counselling Centre (DECC), Ramban concluded here today. The District Officer, JKEDI, Mohsin Abrar informed that the JKEDI being situated adjacent to the District Police Lines where about 3000 aspirants for the selection of JKP Constable post had come for the Physical Endurance (Physical and Measurement) Test yesterday and today could ,manage to attract hundreds of educated unemployed youth in this Awareness Camp. During the two day camp 368 youth showed their keen interest in starting their own entrepreneur or business units and got themselves registered after the counselling. During the Camp the youth were educated on the various schemes of JKEDI for starting their own entrepreneurs or business units by providing them counselling and pamphlets etc. According to Abrar, the most of the youth showed their keen interest in Transport and Service Sector especially in Retail Business like Kiryana or Departmental Store etc. and not in the Agriculture and allied sector.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
