Vijaypur, Jan 14: The Motor Vehicle Department District Samba today organized a Free Medical Health Check up Camp for Commercial Vehicles Drivers and conductors at Vijaypur near BDO Office in Collaboration with District Health and ISM department Samba as part of 27thRoad Safety Week 2016. The team of Doctors comprised of Dr Ifat Mujtaba , A Grade Specialist, Dr. Nikhil , Dr Samriti, Dr Shivali, Para Medical Staff, ANMs and also a team of Doctors from ISM Samba, Nodal Officer Dr Rohit Gupta, Dr Anil Sharma and Dr.Ritika.The Free Medical Health Camp was Inaugurated by Dr. Harbaksh Singh, BMO Ramgarh in presence of Er. Kuldeep Singh ARTO Samba and SDPO Vijaypur S.S Sambyal. MVIs Madan Lal, Chander Mohan Sharma, President of Auto Union Vijaypur Parshotam Singh, MiniBus Union President Sohan singh besides local Sarpanches and community members also attended the Camp.
In the camp about 100 drivers were checked and free medicines were given to them.
The MVIs, the participants and local drivers spoke about Road safety. The ARTO Samba also highlighted the importance of road safety and various precautions to be taken while driving. He also appreciated the role played by Health, ISM department and Transport Union for extending every help to make the Free Medical Health Checkup Camp a Success. |
