Cardiac arrest snatches teen's dream to participate R-Day Parade 1/14/2016 11:17:41 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Jan 14: Much to the disappointment of many, the dream of a 16 year old student of 11th class at Govt (Girls) Higher Secondary School Kishtwar to participate in R-Day Parade remained unfulfilled as she suffered a massive cardiac arrest at the school and later died at District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar. As per the details available with "Early Times", the students identified as Menu Devi d/o Dewan Chand of Mulchitar in Kishtwar district while playing with friends after taking part in ongoing dress rehearsal parade for Republic Day suffered a massive cardiac attack. According to reports, "The girl left the Chowghan Ground at 11 AM for school to attend the Super 50 class after participating in R-Day Rehearsal and while playing with her friends the girl suffered massive heart attack and fell unconscious. " "The teachers at school immediately rush her to District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar but she lost the battle for her life within few minutes after her evacuation to hospital where doctors attending her declared her dead within 10 to 15 minutes after being hospitalization, reports added. Report said, "Meanwhile family members informed the police and the doctors that the girl had the past history of cardiac strokes but termed her death as great loss to the family." They added that the deceased was very enthusiastic over her participation in this year Republic Day Parade at historic Chowghan Ground Kishtwar, but her dream remained unfulfilled due to her sudden death. Meanwhile the members of various contingents, friends, staff members, officials of police and District administration have expressed their grief and shock over the sad demise of Menu Devi and prayed for the peace to the departed soul and prayed Almighty to grant courage to the family members to bear the irreparable loss.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
