Vansh Mahajan outshines in XXIII Jr National Fencing C'ship | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 14 : Principal Govt. Polytechnic Jammu Er. Ritu Jamwal today congratulated told that Ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan member of J&K State team for winning Bronze medal in the National championship. Vansh, a student of Civil engg. of Govt. Polytechnic, Jammu won 'BRONZE MEDAL' in team event in XXIII Junior National Fencing Championship held at Billaspur, Chhattisgarh recently. Er. Ritu Jamwal, Principal said International Fencer Vansh Mahajan had also represented India in Junior Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championship at Cape Town South Africa. A discipline student and budding star of Fencing game of Govt. Polytechnic Jammu has also been selected on his brilliant performance during the 11th Cadet National Fencing Championship wherein he got 3rdposition. "The budding star has given his best and shown extraordinary skills in the Junior National Championship and qualified his pool and lost in Pre- Quarter Final Match", she added. Fencer Vansh Mahajan gave full credit of his performance to his Coach Shotu Lal who is also accompanying with the team and his icons Ujwal Gupta and Rashid Choudhary for achieving his goals. Er. Ritu Jamwal Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Jammu, Er. K.S. Bhatia (Sports Secretary), Er. Inderjeet Singh, Er. K.S.
