Rajouri ,Jan 14 : Principal Govt. Degree College Thannamandi Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina inaugurated 10 days Intra College Sports championship in the college in the presence of large numbers of players of different indoor and outdoor games and staff.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina said that sport is an important component of education because sports provide physical fitness which is necessary condition for good brains. He also wished great success of the championship. PTI of the college, Ravi Kumar Pandita welcomed the audience and said that games Cricket, Volley Ball, Kabddi, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess and Carom shall be played during the championship. Prof. Saleem Ajaz Rather presented formal vote of thanks. Other prominent present at the occasion includes Dr. Naim-Un-Nisa , Prof Junaid Jazib etc. |
