Akhnoor, Jan 28: Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, jointly organised a series of publicity programmes in Kot-Garhi village of Akhnoor block.
According to press release in connection with the ongoing intensive awareness campaign on Special Outreach Programmes vis-a-vis Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bhima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Sureksha Bhima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and Mission India the camp was organized.
The aim of the camping was to aware masses about various flagships programmes of Government of India. During the campaign, all the tools of IEC activities were put to use which included films shows, Group discussion, Quiz contests, Expert lectures by Resource persons on the above themes, Question Answer session, Rally etc. which were witnessed by a large gathering comprising of teachers, anganwadi workers, students, panchs, sarpanch, local men and women.
A grand rally of students was also organised which passed through the streets of village Kot-Garhi which was aimed at disseminatiing the information and awareness of these national public welfare programmes among the rural masses. |
