In Guv's rule, Lal has 'lal bati' on his car | | | Early Times Report kathua, Jan 28: Even as the State is under Governor's rule, former Health Minister Lal Singh still has red beacon on his car. To clear doubts, during the Governor's rule, the DDC can issue orders for withdrawal of red beacons from vehicles used by VIPs. Prem Nath Dogra, the newly appointed District President of BJP Kathua unit, stringently condemned the use of facilities including red beacon atop of official vehicle and said DDC Kathua must uphold the law. He appealed DDC Kathua to take strict action against such person and issue a circular immediately in this regard. Paramjeet Singh Pamma, State general secretary Youth Congress, accused the ex-Health Minister of misusing his position and facilities being provided to a Minister. He demanded strict action against use of beacon light during hung Assembly. Suresh Kumar, an RTI activist, said the Minister must be considered as common-man and demanded to issue a circular for removal of red beacon light atop of vehicles. |
