Army organizes T20 tournament 1/28/2016 11:57:27 PM Rajouri, Jan 28 :In collaboration with Rajouri Sports Committee (RSC), army organized Rajouri Premier League T 20 cricket tournament at Raina Stadium situated inside Infantry Division HQs at Rajouri . The tournament was inaugurated today by Brig Anand Sexena, Station Commander in the presence of sportsmen of the area, prominent citizens and senior civil and army officers. "The main aim behind organizing sports competitions is to inculcating sportsman spirit among the youth of the area. Rajouri Sports Committee is an amalgam of sports loving citizens of the Rajouri" said a senior army officer. Brig. Anand Saxena who was also chief guest on the occasion and interacted with the players of the tournaments, team managers and other members of the organising committee as well as the umpires, commentators. First match of the tournament was played between Rajouri Lions and Rajouri Eleven in which Rajouri Lions registered win of five runs whereas in the second match of the day, Shining Star registered win of seventy three runs over Rajouri Warriors.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
