| PDP-BJP responsible for Temple's Desecration: JKNPP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 16: Resented over Roop Nagar Temple incident, JKNPP today said that the present situation is the gift of PDP-BJP coalition Govt. to the secular and patriotic people of Jammu.
Addressing a press conference here today Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP condemned the act of temple desecration. "It is well planned conspiracy against the Hindu's of Jammu created by separatists in association with Govt. of Pakistan and ISI and it is shameful that this conspiracy is fully supported by the administration of Jammu directed by the present Govt. As per the direction of Govt. the administration has taken action against the people who were peacefully protesting against the act of temple desecration", he said, and added that they had created a situation in which the people feel scared in moving even towards their worship places.
He further said that they were detained and held in lockup for whole night and one day but it is very unfortunate that the person who was guilty of this act was declared as an insane person. "We want to know whether the person who hurt the sentiments of people of Jammu is an insane person whether it is the person involved in Kud attack, person involved in the act of Aap Shambhu Mandir's desecration. We want to see the face of those people of VHP and BJP who always talk about Hindutava", Gupta said.
He further said that they want to know why they are trying to divert the attention of the people whether they become blind after getting power. |
