| Labour deptt organizes awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, June 16: In order to generate awareness about their welfare schemes the Department of Labour organized a day long awareness programme in Gool area of district Ramban, today.
According to press release, Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Ramban Ganshyam Basotra tour the far flung area of Sangaldan and Gool and guide the labourers found working on different sites for seeking registration under the BOCW Act, 1996.
He also paid visit to the office of Block Development Officer (BDO) Sangaldan and Gool and requested them to provide all assistance to these people and MGNREGA labour.
He also sought help from concerned BDO for organising mass awareness camp in collaboration in the near future.
ALC also visited Garden Model Academy High School of the area in connection with awareness generation among the students against child labour and appealed to all the people to help for eradication of menace of child labour. |
