Jammu, July 4: District Governor of Rotary District 3070 Dr Sarbjeet Singh installed Surinder Bansal as President of Rotary Club Jammu Aastha during an impressive function at Amar Singh Club and others members to new body.
According to spokesperson, the Board of Directors installed Dr Dinesh Luthra as Sr Vice President, Arvind Gupta as Vice President, Vipan Bhasin as Secretary, Aditi Gupta as Treasurer, Nirmal Gupta as Joint Secretary, Sahil Chopra as Joint Treasurer and Aditya Gupta as Sgt-at-Arms..
Earlier during the day, District Governor Rotary District 3070, Dr Sarbjeet Singh visited the club and lauded the projects and works undertaken being taken by the club for the welfare of the community and impressed upon doing permanent project with the help of Global Grant from RotaryFoundation.
Master of Ceremony, R S Goel conducted the proceedings of the Installation ceremony.
Earlier outgoing President Sumil Goyal presented a detailed report of the projects carried out during the last year. DG Dr Sarbjeet Singh also presented RI Presidential Gold Citation to the members of the Rotary Club Jammu Aastha awarded by RI President K R Ravindran. V M Goyal presented vote of thanks. District Secretary V K Kalia, Zonal Chairman K K Langer, Assistant Governor Dr Gaurav Vaid, Rotarians of the Club Ajay Aggarwal, Chander Goel, Niti Goyal and their families were also present. |
