ET Report
JAMMU, July 4: Few Direct Deputed Ranger (DDR) foresters in Jammu and Kashmir forest department severing as Personal Security Officer (PSO) to Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF) Jammu and allegedly ineligible employees deployed as Range Officers.
If Sources are to be believed, three DDR foresters, who are highly qualified, have been severing as PSO to CCF Jammu, Roshan Jaggi for last some months, if anyone refuses to do so the CCF Jammu starts harass and threats to stop their salaries.
"CCF Jammu misusing his power for only to appease ownself by torturing the staff who are working under him, "Sources alleged and adding that 'blue eyed' (ineligible employees) were picked up by him in the Department and deployed as range officer and highly qualified as deserving employees, who were ignored for the reason best known to him. If the department issue experiences of highly qualified DDR foresters, they would be improved the functioning of the department but who cares.
"No one employee or senior officer know that under which law grants permission to CCF Jammu to deploy DDR foresters as PSO. DDR foresters have to follow him during duty hours where he go and serve as PSO and numbers of times they refused to do then the CCF threaten them to follow instructions or face its consequence.
Sources further stated, moreover, administration of the forest department Jammu over ruled Government order by trashing the circular of the State Government notifying summer timings in all Government offices/institutions from May 1, as notified its own timings from 10 Am to 4 PMallegedly to facilitate some blue eyed.
"CCF Jammu also threaten to employees when employees approached to him after not following government order of office timing, "Sources further stated.
When contacted CCF Jammu RoshanJaggi could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.
