Jammu, July 4: The Non-Gazetted Employees Union (NGEU) of Jammu University today held protest demonstration against Varsity authorities here at old Administration Block.
According to press release, union president Vijay Kumar warned the University Authority that if their demands not conceded within a short period of time their token strike shall he converted in full day.
Vijay further said that Casual Labour Employee Pawan Kumar, working in Economics Department for the last 18 years has expired this year but the University Authorities has refused to compensate the deceased family.
They urged the Pro-Chancellor of varsity to kindly intervene in this matter and give suitable instruction to the JU authorities, so that a congenial atmosphere created in University campus. |
