Early Times Report Jammu, July 4: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress remembered the former Prime Minister, Late Rajiv Gandhi, by offering floral tributes to his portrait and launched plantation drive. According to press release, a function was organized at Durganagar, Jammu under the leadership of Pranav Shagotra, President JKPYC. The programme Hum Mein Hai Rajiv was organized by Thakur. Hoshiyar Singh Chib, Lok Sabha General Secretary. PYC President was accompanied by Chetan Wanchoo-Spokesperson PYC, Ravi Kant- AYC President, Prateek Singh, Dushant Singh, Rahul Seth, Ravinder Choudhary- AYC General Secretaries. Speaking on the occasion Pranav Shagotra said that the programme 'Hum Mein Hai Rajiv' is conceived and conceptualized to propagate the thoughts and innovative initiative of the architect of Modern India Bharat Ratana Rajiv Gandhi amongst the youth, farmers, women, labourer and every citizen of the Country. He said that it is the need of the hour that we inculcate Rajiv ji's teachings on social equality inclusive development and global peace. He described Gandhi as a great visionary leader who led the country towards the challenges of 21st century. |
