DDC takes dig at Govt's failure to address issues 7/4/2016 11:20:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 4: District Congress Committee (Urban) Jammu has expressed deep concern and deep anguish over the miserable failure of the Govt. over maintenance and regularity of civil amenities. In a meet held today, president Anil Chopra said that the Government has miserably failed to provide basic amenities of life like ration, drinking water, power supply, road connectivity, Medicare, education etc. The state Subject issue also remained a matter of serious concern in the meeting. He criticized the attitude of the BJP MLAs towards the issues and problems of people of Jammu. He criticized the failure of the coalition Govt. on all fronts also law and order with special reference to attacks on (Mandir) temples in Jammu and elsewhere in the state. He said the uncalled for approach of the Govt on the issues of Land Act amendments, issue of state subject is not in the interest of common man. Amendment in Panchayati Raj Bill was also condemned by the speakers in the meeting. The issue of implementation of the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission on the analogy of Central Govt., was also highlighted in the meeting. Lastly all the cadres attended the meeting assured the house to offer all sorts of scarification in the interest of the public at large.
