Emerging cyber crimes, problem of drugs in society in PCPG meet 7/5/2016 12:10:22 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 4: A PCPG meeting was organised in Police Post Rehari in which locals of the New Plot and Rehari area of different age group and profession participated. The meeting was organised under the supervision of SP city north Dr Vinod kumar IPS,SDPO city North Vivek Shekher and overall supervision of SSP Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta. I/C SHO P/S Pacca danga and IC PP Rehari Mukesh sharma were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion SP north and SDPO north briefed the gathering about the modus operandi of criminals and also made them aware with the preventive measures to be taken so that not to fall prey of them. Officers also briefed them about emerging cyber crimes, problem of drugs in the society and its evil effects and briefed them to remain extra vigilant and inform police authorities about any suspicious person their presence and movement keeping in view the holy Shri Baba Amarnath ji yatra and festival of Eid ul fitr and also seek cooperation and coordination from the general public in fighting with such type of crime by becoming eyes and ears of police. Respectable present also briefed the police officers about their day to day problems which include traffic jamming, poor public transport infrastructure, unemployment which is leading the youth towards drugs addiction and last they promised full cooperation towards police in all spheres.
