DODA, July 4: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Doda today conducted a programme on "Kissan Call Center" at village Droundi in which farmers were made aware of the Kissan Call Centers and Toll free number 1800-180-1551 for getting experts' solutions to the agriculture and allied problems.
It was suggested to get immediate solutions to their agriculture related problems from experts by dialing toll free number from their mobile and landlines phones.
It is very useful and quick means of extension services for the farmers from far flung, remote and hilly areas.
Mock up demonstrations were also conducted to educate the participants about communication skills for initiating talk with the Kissan Call Center.
The programme was conducted by Dr Narinder Paul Scientist and Dr Munish Sharma from KVK Doda under the guidance of Directorate of Extension SKUAST Jammu and organized by the volunteers of KVK Farmer Club Droundi.
Abdul Rashid, Nustaq Ahmad, Rajinder Prashad, Khurshid Ahmad, Ghulam Nabi, Azad Hussain, Romesh Lal from the village were also were also present in the programme. |
