Kathua, July 17: Ex MLC Subash Gupta paid tributes to former finance minister and member of parliament Girdhari Lal Dogra on his 102th birth anniversary at Government Girdhari Lal Dogra memorial degree college in Hiranagar.
A large number of people were present to pay homage to the veteran who was known for his simplicity and dedicated service to the people. Gupta who is also District president of Congress Kathua recalled the contribution of Dogra towards the development of the state. He especially high-lighted his humility and dedicated service towards poor and deprived section of society, saying one needs to learn from the example set by him to serve the people.
