Jammu, July 17: Bakshi Nagar police has booked five Junior Engineers of PHE Department for misbehaving, abusing and threatening M Taj Chowdhary, Executive Engineer, PHE Rural Division, Jammu. According to M Taj Chowdhary, the five Junior Engineers of the department misbehaved with him, abused and assaulted him and even threatened him of dire consequences during an official meeting held on July 12 at PHE Guest House, New Plot, over some trifle issue. He said that immediately after the meeting he briefed the matter to Chief Engineer as well as concerned Minister and also submitted a written complaint to police station Bakshi Nagar.
When contacted, SHO Bakshi Nagar, Ashwani Kumar, said that they have registered a case under FIR No 124/2016 against five accused Junior Engineers under Sections 353/332 and 504/506 on the basis of the written complaint submitted by the complainant. "However, no action has been taken yet", he added. |
