ICAI declares CA final exams result | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 19: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) yesterday announced the results of Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in May, 2016 and Common Proficiency Test held on June 19, 2016. The top three rank holders on all India basis of Chartered Accountants Final Examinations held in May, 2016 are from Salem, Vijayawada and Jamnagar respectively. All over India 107058 students appeared for CPT Examination out of which 41727 (38.98%) declared qualified and overall pass percentage of Male candidates was 38.41% whereas pass percentage of female candidates was 39.75% throughout India. In Jammu & Kashmir, total 25 students cleared CA Final Group-1 Examination and 16 students cleared CA Final Group-II Examination and 1 student cleared both groups. In addition to that total of 73 students cleared CPT examination from J&K State. CA. M. Devaraja Reddy, President, ICAI said "Chartered Accountancy is a highly sought after professional course. Making the CA professionals as future managers with core competencies is our primary aim at ICAI. We have high hopes from the students as we consider them to be highly committed, focused and hard working individuals who imbibe the virtues of independence, integrity and excellence." |
