| 'Corrupt political system responsible for present unrest in valley' | | | Early Times Report
jammu, July 19: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice have in its statement appealed to the people of J&K state in general & the people of Kashmir in particular for maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood at all cost as there are such elements in the state who are bent upon provoking the innocent people for their vested interests in Kashmir while as their own children are living & studying outside the state and enjoying a luxurious life there without caring for the people of the Kashmir.
These vested interests are throwing innocent youth in jaws of death by misleading them & prompting them to resort to stone pelting as a result of which as many as 42 youths & a good number of security personals have died so for.
The Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice has expressed concern over the loss of precious lives of the people of Kashmir & security personnel in this unfortunate incident due to wrong & appeasement polices of the successive governments for their personal interests.
The main reason behind this unrest in the valley is that the qualified youth of the valley in particular have always been ignored by the corrupt successive governments and these governments have bitterly failed to address their grievances and taking action for providing them lively hood.
These un-employed qualified youth having no means of lively hood prompted themselves to choose the alternative way for earning their lively hood by indulging themselves to stone pelting as these youth are being paid a handsome amount for stone pelting by the vested interests active in the valley.
All political parties which are presently active in the country have always adopted the divide and rule policy for their vote banks and their personal interests. None of the previous governments have taken any concrete steps to bring the educated youth in the main stream of the country for their welfare.
The other reason for ignoring the educated youth is that the party representatives (MP's, MLA's & MLC's) do not respond to the aggrieved youth but are concerned only to their pockets by charging a handsome amount as the commission from their constituency development fund without verifying the construction what so ever on ground for which they provide funds from their constituency development fund. |
