Former JU Prof interacts with Team India | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 31: Former senior faculty of the University of Jammu (JU), Professor R K Mishra interacted with Virat Kohli led Team India presently on cricket tour to West Indies. Retired as Dean Faculty of Arts and Head of the Department of Buddhist Studies, Prof Mishra was special invitee to Indian High Commissioner's official residence where both Team India and West Indies were invited over a dinner. Prof Mishra is present on a two-year deputation to University of West Indies duly endorsed by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. "It was like home coming for me. Cricketers from both the teams were surprised to see someone in a traditional Indian dress among a few guests of the Indian High Commissioner receiving them. Same was the feelings with me. It was a dream come true to interact with fire-brand cricketer, Virat Kohli besides other young men in blue," talking to SAN from West Indies, Prof Mishra told. The photographs taken with the visiting guest cricketers were evident to the fact that Prof Mishra had some funny moments and enjoyed a good time with young men. "Aggressive Virat is a funny guy, so is cool Rohit Sharma. It was a lifetime experience to open my heart to world famous cricketers," expressing his feelings, said Prof Mishra. |
