Mantri's coterie more powerful than BJP, affiliated organizations 8/1/2016 12:24:08 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 31: The recent reshuffle in the administration has once again proved that a prominent businessman of Jammu city, who is member of the kitchen cabinet of a prominent BJP minister, is bigger than the party and organisation. It is only decisions of this businessman which are being implemented by the government and all other suggestions given by the organisation are being thrown into the dustbin by the said minister. Making mockery of the all claims of BJP leadership to provide corruption free government in the State, this businessman is managing transfers and postings of some tainted officers with the connivance of some family members of the said minister. Credible sources in the corridors of powers revealed that transfer list of the officer was prepared in the office of the said businessman and officers were also in touch with him because officers have realized that the businessman was the right man to get them adjusted. "Earlier officers used to approach BJP leaders or other persons active in the RSS to for transfers and postings but now they have realised that approaching BJP men or RSS leaders for transfers is wastage of time and money so they have identify the right man, who is very close to a senior BJP minister and known for managing things through different means", an officer who got important posting with the help of this businessman disclosed with a condition not to reveal his name. Credible sources said that a coterie in the kitchen cabinet of a senior ministers and this coterie included some family members of the minister, the said businessman and a young man. This coterie is ruling the roost in the departments being held by the said minister as officers are also aware that only this group can manage things for them. More interestingly, members of the kitchen cabinet of the senior minister have also managed to get their names included in important committees of different ministries. This coterie is not only managing transfers in the department being held by the ministers but they are also appointing SHOs of their choice in different police stations.
