Jammu, July 31: The Principal of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu keeps on hogging the headlines for wrong reasons, now he has turned 'Rashtrapita' (father of nation) by posting his picture on Indian currency notes and then putting it on his Facebook wall with title 'Only in…..happens'.
Sources told Early Times the Principal of Premier Health institute in Jammu, who is close lieutenant of a 'firebrand' Minister, is working to appease some politicians by ignoring genuine issues for the betterment of the College and hospital and he is well known for his alleged wrong doings.
"See the courage and the guts of the person. He has challenged the Constitution of India by putting his picture on the currency note instead of Father of the Nation- Mahatma Gandhi. After doing so he has posted it on the Facebook wall to seek the attention of the users," said an analyst. He said that government should take a serious note of his activity and take stern action against him. "This act depicts his mindset and him taking the system for granted," the analyst added. Sources claimed that Principal GMC is addicted to the Facebook and keeps on doing "funny things" on social networking sites. "This time he has crossed all the limits by insulting the father of the nation (Mahatma Gandhi) who ended British Raaj in India and sacrificed his life for the nation.
An analyst said the GMCH principal acting like a "teenage boy" on a social networking site is unacceptable. "By posting his picture on currency note he has acted in an immature way and he should apologize for it," he added.
Sources said that recently a Rs 1.53 crore scam had surfaced at GMCH and the issue was taken up in Upper House in (J&K Assembly) in the alst assembly session.
"The huge amount was diverted to appease some politicians and blue eyed persons in the hospital and the diversion was made on the directions of the GMCVH Principal," sources alleged.
Despite assurance in upper house to conduct proper enquiry into the scam, the enquiry is yet to begin as few persons in GMCH are trying to push the matter under carpet.
