Early Times Report

Jammu, July 31: Already facing inquiry for her tyrant ways, an in-charge principal posted in one of the Girls' Higher Secondary of Jammu City has allegedly restrained a female lecturer who is posted there due to severe medical complication, endorsed by an authorized medical board; from marking her attendance.
Victim of Incharge principal's autocracy, the female lecturer was harassed infront of all staff members but they adopted stoic silence lest they invited the wrath of the in-charge principal, who is known for her oppressive ways.
Sources further said that the earlier, in the month of May an enquiry was also initiated by the Director school Education (DSE) against the in-charge Principal in question over alleged harassment to staff members and a three- member fact finding committee was constituted to conduct the inquiry..
One of the lecturers posted in the same school, pleading anonymity alleged that the inquiry is still pending as the principal boasts of her personal affiliation with the Education Minister.
"NAYEEM SAHAB HAMARE GHAR KE BANDE HAIN AUR SARKAR HAMARI APNI HAI", these are the words of the in-charge principal, alleged the lecturer.
Raising grave allegations of financial misappropriation against the incharge principal, sources further said that she credited the salary of the staff in her personal account and disbursed the same only after the 16th of every month thus illegally earning interest on the amount, that runs into lakhs. "She had also withdrawn Rs 62,000 which was interest of the salaries of the staff for her personal use" a staff member disclosed.
The matter of harassment of the ailing female lecturer was also reported to police on Saturday but as the case pertained to officials of the department, the police officer suggested filing the complaint with the higher officers of the education department.
