Rajouri, July 31: In a jubilant mood state members of Pahari Advisory Board showed their gratitude towards the government led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for showing concern for their downtrodden ethnicity by its act of recent cabinet approval of ST status to Pahari speaking people who has been verified and acknowledged as the marginalized economical backward community by the high power socio ethno committee report set up by the government. In a joint statement members also hailed the role of Muzafar Hussain Bieg ,Member Parliament in providing momentum to the ongoing struggle of the Pahari ethnicity. Meanwhile most of the board members condemned the negative response of certain chauvinist groups regarding this development . They also demanded the implementation of 5% state reservation processed by the previous government which is not executed owing to certain minor quries . In one voice members praised the role of Vice Chairman of the board Kuldeep Raj Gupta in driving the cause with pure intentions, spirit and passion .
