Dy CM's remarks on Burhan instigate terrorism, demoralize security forces: Congress | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 31: "Hundreds of security forces got major injuries, few number lost their body parts permanently, Amarnath ji Yatra interrupted, business affected due to Kashmir turbulent followed by killing of Burhan Wani, a terrorist, gunned down on July 8 but Dy Chief Minister who must handle the unrest, delivered sensational statement and declared Burhan's encounter merely an accident," Congress District President (Acting) Pankaj Dogra today lambasted Nirmal Singh and stringently condemned his remarks. Pankaj Dogra today raised his voice in favor of security forces who have been deployed there in Kashmir , performed their duty with dedication and patriotic attitude. Dogra alleged on BJP leaders to instigate terrorism in Kashmir in lust of power and demoralize security forces. Congress leaders expressed their concern today through a press conference wherein the party leaders asked coalition government especially BJP to step down and forbade to play with the emotion of people who sacrifice the young one for maintaining peace in the state. Sadar Khan, Sr Congress leader & Retd. SSP said security forces fight against terrorism without scare of their lives during encounters, they focus on mission to save the country from anti-national elements but people like Dy CM J&K demoralizes their enthusiasm, determination and hardship which they expressed during fighting against terrorists. He condemned divisive policy of BJP and said real face of BJP that once talked about principles of Shyama Parsad Mukherjee today bowed against separatists. Dr. Nirmal Singh's double face today exposed when he took U-turn from his earlier statement and refused to deliver such remarks on Burhan. Congress and other Jammu based political and social organizations came on road against irresponsible statement delivered by Dy CM in across the Jammu region wherein they demanded resignation of the leader. |
