| PDP, BJP Govt follow separatists: Congress | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 31 : The Senior Congress Leaders, in a joint statement have expressed their shock and anguish over the statement of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh in which he said that, "The killing of Hizbul Commander Burhan Wani was an accident and the presence of Burhan Wani at the site of the encounter was not known to the security forces".
According to press release a joint statement was issued by MLC and CLP leader in J&K legislative council Jugal Kishore Sharma, Former Sr. Vice-President, J&KPCC Thakur Hari Singh, RS Chib, Ashok Sharma and Jagdish Sapolia and other senior leaders of the party.
Condemning the same congress leaders stated, that the views expressed by the Dy CM are exact replica of the Statement of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, issued by her few days back.
They further elaborated that such Statements by the top functionaries of the Govt. are an attempt on their part to control the situation in the valley by appeasing the terrorists and following the footsteps of the separatists.
The Congress Leaders further stated that they are proud of our Security Forces and nobody can question their dedication, commitment to the Nation and their full respect and love for the civil population.
The Leaders applauded their role in eliminating those who are out to challenge the unity and integrity of our great nation and also for ensuring that no innocent civilian was targeted. This is amply clear from the fact that a large number of our brave security personnel, sacrificed their lives or got injured, during encounters with Pak- sponsored terrorists. |
