JAMMU, July 31 : Rajput Mahilas organized a meeting and Mahilas were made aware about the functioning of Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha (SAKRS) and welfare steps taken by the Sabha for the welfare of the Community.
During meeting at Raj Tilak Bhawan Purani Mandi Jammu which was held under the Chairmanship of President SAKRS Naryan Singh. On the occasion, a large number of Mahilas hailing from Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban, Rajouri, Nowshera, Sunderbani and R S Pura areas were participated in the meeting. It stated that they provide financial assistance to poor and deserving widows of the Rajput Biradri and also providing scholarships to Poor and deserving students, honoured war widows and their Parents for their sacred sacrifice for the nation. Later, Sunita Badwal honoured for translation of book on Mian Dido who is also nominated by Directorate of Hindi for President award-ship.
