Fresh batch of 515 pilgrims leaves for Amarnath yatra from Jammu

Jammu, July 31: A fresh batch of 515 pilgrims today left from here amid tight security for their respective base camps in Kashmir-- Baltal and Pahalgam.
"Amid chants of 'Bam Bam Bhole, Jai Baba Burfani' a fresh batch of pilgrims comprising 327 males, 141 females and 47 sadhus in a convoy of 13 vehicles left from Bagwati Nagar base camp for Baltal and Pahalgam in Kashmir", an official said this afternoon.
He added that the pilgrims proceeded for their pilgrimage via Pahalgam and Baltal routes to pay their obeisance at holy cave shrine of Shri Amarnath situated in south Kashmir of Himalayas.
