Narendra Modi, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has requested Government to give relaxation in admission and examination cutoff date/deadlines for the students of Jammu & Kashmir. Anshu Kataria, chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that due to the unrest in the Kashmir Valley and unending curfew, students are forced to sit at their homes. Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh while speaking said that even in Aryans more than 1200 JK students are studying in various courses which is the highest number in the region which gives the reflection of mini Kashmir. In the request letter sent from Aryans to Modi, it has been mentioned that apart from Aryans, JK students are approaching almost all parts of the country for their higher education. Keeping in view the genuineness of the problems faced by the students, Government should direct all educational Institutions of the country to give relaxation in the admission and examination process so that the future of thousands of valley students should not get harm.
